The Markilux 1600 with its stylish semi-cassette design closes flush with the front profile to protect the cover from the rain. The strong folding arm benefits from twin steel link chains which control its precision motion to extend up to 4 m. As this awning can be coupled, it can effectively stretch to over 14 metres in width. It has a manual operation as standard with a servo-assisted upgrade. Motor options can be hard-wired or remote controlled.
